The Leopard lizard ranges in size from approximately 22cm to 38cm in length. They can be distinguished by their grey and brown skin with many marks of darker colour. White strips are also frequently seen running across the back and tail. As the temperatures become cooler the colour of the leopard lizard becomes darker.
