Blunt-nosed Leopard Lizard
The Blunt-nosed Leapard lizard ranges in length from 20cm to 24cm. Distinguishing features
include the lizards blunt nose, rounded tail and short head. The skin is marked by white or yellow
crossbars as well as larger grey or brown crossbars. This lizard can be found predominantly in the sandy flats and
foothills of the San Joaquin Valley, California. Much of this range has been converted to farmland, threatening
the existence of this species.
