Moose
It is common knowledge in northern Canada that if you hit a moose while driving chances for your
survival are slim (the moose will probably survive). Moose are the largest member of the deer family and may reach
up to 9 1/2 feet in length and stand almost 8 feet at the shoulders! A mature bull may weigh up to
1800 lbs. The back of the moose slopes strongly towards the hind quarters and the shoulders are
humped. MORE!
