The ears are large, the upper lip hangs over the lower and their is a loose appendage of
hair covered skin, known as a 'bell', which hangs from the throat. In the summer months the coat
ranges from chestnut red to black, turning more grey during the winter. In spring, bulls grow a set
of many tined antlers. These antlers may reach a span of 78 inches. In the warmer months on the
year moose spend a great deal of time in the water. MORE!
