The markhor is perhaps the most beautiful of the wild goat family. Male markhor are crowned with large spiralling horns. The markhor is a fairly large member of the goat family reaching 3 feet at the shoulder, weighing 220 lb. The coat of the markhor is thick with longer hairs forming a mane on the neck and breast. In the summer the coat is soft brown, while in winter the coat is grey, with white undersurface and black tail. MORE! [BM] {FW}
