The ibex is a species of wild goat which can be divided into seven different forms. The largest of these wild mountain goats is the Siberian ibex. The male Siberian ibex can weigh up to 290 lbs and the females are considerably smaller. The different species of ibex vary considerably in appearance and habitat. Most, however, can be recognized by their knobby horns which curl back and follow a loose spiral. The ibex is known for its extraordinary climbing ability. MORE! [BM] {FW}
