Serow
There are 3 species of serow: the Japanese, the maned and the Formosan serow. The most
common species of serow is the maned serow. The maned serow stands approximately
32 to 49 inches in height and may weigh up to 200 lbs. This goat antelope has a mane which runs
along its neck and back. The coat is sparse and rough. The horns on the maned serow are small
and point back, curving downwards only slightly toward the tapering tip. MORE!
