HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Aurichalcite

To the left is a picture of aurichalcite, chemically known as a basic zinc and copper carbonate. It is a rare mineral that occurs in a variety of muted colours of green and blue. It can be found in areas of France, Greece, and Scotland. This mineral probably received its name from the Greek word "oreichalkon" which translates to "copper". [BM] {CC} {SS}
