Aragonite
Aragonite is a carbonate mineral containing calcium along with lead, strontium, and zinc. Its
common colour is white, but it can also be a variety of other colours. Aragonite is commonly
formed from calcite that has undergone regional metamorphism. Localities include Spain and
Italy. Since aragonite is rare, it has no commerical use.
