Colemanite
Colemanite (hydrous calcium borate) is a semi-rare mineral that is colourless, white, or gray. It
forms in nature in chemical sedimentary rock environments, where it is found along with other
borate minerals. Colemanite mines are located in the western United States and in Turkey. This
mineral is mined as a source of boron and for various uses in industry.
