Common Juniper
Common Juniper Juniperus communis is often a low-growing shrub which
has sharp needles that are whitish on top and grow in threes. It does not
have the cones typical of most conifers but its fruits are like little
round blue-black berries. The foliage has an aromatic scent and it provides
food for grouse and other creatures.
