Family Amaryllidaceae
The Amaryllis Family (Amaryllidaceae) is considered by some taxonomists to
be part of the Iris Family (Iridaceae). Most species in this family have
underground bulbs and long narrow leaves. The flowers resemble those in
the Lily and Iris Families.
