TREE ALOES There are more than 300 species of Aloe which are juicy fleshy (succulent) plants with sharp-tipped leaves arranged in a rosette. The flowering stems have clusters of red pink or yellow flowers. They are native to Africa and Asia and the fleshy leaves store water which enables the plant to grow in dry desert conditions. The largest Aloes are trees which grow up to 15 metres tall. [CH] {EN}
