Goldenrod
Goldenrod Solidago is a large genus with over 100 species, that are
mostly North American. Many are quite tall plants and they have clusters of
golden-yellow flowers. Each "flower" is really a daisy-like head of flowers
and these plants belong to the Daisy Family. The large number of species in
this genus can be separated by differences such as the shape of the
flowering heads and the veining of the leaves.
