Annual Fleabane
Annual Fleabane Erigeron annuus is a spring-blooming daisy that
grows wild in North America, by roadsides and in fields. It is a hairy
plant with many, toothed leaves and flowering heads at the tips of
branching stems. The heads have about a hundred white ray-florets
surrounding yellow disk-florets. There are cultivated species of
Erigeron with named horticultural varieties like Merstham Glory and
Rosa Jewel which come in a range of colours.
