Rock Rattlesnake
This Rock Rattlesnake, sunning itself on the rocks, is well camouflaged in colours of gray, olive, black
and brown. The distinctive dark crossbands break the outline of the snake. Rock Rattlesnakes live in
rocky, mountainous areas where there are lizards, young rodents and other snakes to feed upon. This species
can be found in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and further south in Mexico.
