Mojave Rattlesnake
The venom of the Mojave Rattlesnake is more toxic than any other North American Pit Viper. A bite from this
snake can cause serious respiratory problems. These inconspicuous
snakes appear in shades of olive, brown, grey and yellow. They avoid the heat of the day and emerge in the
evenings or on cool days. They can be found in desert lands, rocky hills and arid grassy plains. The Mojave
Ratttlesnake can be found in the southwestern United States.
