The Great Basin Gopher snake is decorated by a light and dark blotched pattern. The body is quite powerful and the head is rather small. Reaching up to 254cm, the Great Basin Gopher snake can be classified as a large snake. Gopher snakes can be found in dry habitats where there are woodlands, prairies, or rocky deserts.
