Stick-nest Rat

There are 3 species of stick-nest rat. These rats range in size from 5.5 to 8 inches, with an additional 10 inches of long, hairy tail in the largest of the stick-nest rats. The stick-nest rat is also commonly called the rabbit-rat for its large ears and blunt muzzle. The fur of the stick-nest rat is soft and thick, light yellow to grey brown in colour with grey or white underparts.
