Steppe Lemming

There are 3 species of steppe lemming. Ranging in size from 3.5 to 4 inches, the steppe lemming has a solid, stocky build. The tail of the steppe lemming is small, approximately 1 inch in length, the ears are short and the eyes are quite small. A close relative of the vole family, the steppe lemming shares the vole's characteristic of a blunt muzzle. MORE! [BM] {FW}
