Sorry, No Picture! The quagga is a now extinct species of African zebra. Once common in South Africa some 200 years ago, the quagga was almost completely wiped out under the ruthless hands of the Boer farmers and poachers. The Boer farmers commonly went out on hunting expeditions, riding through the flat lands on wagons, killing whatever was in sight. These animals would be collected and taken back to the farms to feed their Hottentot slaves. MORE! [BM] {FW}
