Thrush
There are many species of thrush; this photograph captures a Hermit thrush with it's young.
Two common species of thrush are the songthrush and mistlethrush. The songthrush is
approximately 9 inches in length and the mistlethrush is slightly larger. The species can
usually be distinguished by their plumage. Thrushes can be found in Europe, Asia, Africa and
North America.
