Swallow
The swallow reaches about 7.5 inches in length and is easily recognized by its sharply
forked tail and sharply pointed wings. The most widely distributed swallow is commonly known
as the barn swallow. The barn swallow has a red throat and forehead, blue uppersurface and
white undersurface. The barn swallow is found in Europe, North America and Asia.
