Sorry, No Picture! Coucals are members of the cuckoo family. Unlike cuckoos they build their own nests and care for their young. Coucals are characterized by their long pheasant-like tails and black, brown and white plumage. These birds are fairly secretive and prefer habitat with dense covering.
