Sorry, No Picture! The axolotl is of particular interest because it reproduces while still in its juvenile form. As aquatic larvae the axolotl reaches sexual maturity and reproduces, it is some time later that the larvae changes into an adult salamander. Juvenile reproduction is known as neoteny. MORE!
