Axolotl 2
The axolotl shares similarities
with the newt. It reaches lengths between 10 and 18 cm. They are commonly black or deep brown,
although it is not difficult to find albino axolotls. They have tiny feet, strong tadpole-like tails and a
collar of feathery gills. This amphibian is found in lakes around Mexico City.
