Halictus Bee 2
(Order Hymenoptera Family Halictidae)
The halictid bee is generally quite small, ranging in size from 5 to 15mm. Most are
coloured darkly, although some are metallic green. One species of halictid bee is attracted to
perspiration and is commonly called a sweat bee.
