The Church of God
The Church of God developed at the turn of the 20th Century, during a Pentecostal revival known as the Latter Rain
revival.
The Latter Rain revival emphasized the belief that the Holy Spirit would rain down gifts of the spirit (such as
speaking in tongues), a second time, just as had happened at Pentecost after the ascension of Jesus Christ. In this
pentecostal mosaic from the age of antiquity, the dove represents the Holy Spirit. This great work
of art by Greek artist, Loukas, is entitled "Pentecost:The Holy Ghost". MORE!
