Nature Worship
Their gods emerged from their experiences with nature.
Most African tribes had gods for
rain, and sun, storm and a multitude of animals.
Nature worship can be considered one of the
most significant aspects of African paganism.
The relationship the African people had with
these lesser gods was very personalized.
It was not uncommon for someone to bribe, flatter
or threaten a lower god during prayer.
