Sphalerite
Sphalerite is a sulphide mineral containing zinc that may be yellow, green, red, brown, or black.
It is usually found in nature along with galena in a variety of environments. Deposits of sphalerite
are located in the western USA and throughout Europe. Sphalerite is mined as a source of zinc.
