Celestite
Celestite, which contains strontium, is a brittle mineral that is found in crystals shaped like
elongated cubes. The colour can be transparent, white, pale red or pale blue. Celestite is used in
road flares and fireworks to create a bright red flame. It can be found in parts of Europe and the
United States.
