Wollastonite
Wollastonite (calcium silicate) is a semi-rare mineral that is characterized by its white or gray
elongated crystals. It occurs due to metamorphic rock processes. Substantial amounts of
wollastonite are located in France and Germany. This mineral is mined and used in industry for
ceramics and paints.
