Kaolinite
Kaolinite (hydrous aluminum silicate) is a very common mineral that can be coloured in
various shades of brown. It looks a lot like clay. This mineral is formed by the chemical
alteration of aluminum-bearing minerals. Minable masses are located in Germany and Italy.
Kaolinite is commercially mined as an important material in the china industry.
