Labradorite
Labradorite is a member of the feldspars.
Feldspars are silicates that contain calcium, sodium, aluminum, and/or potassium in
combination with silicon and oxygen. Labradorite contains aluminum, calcium, and sodium. It
is often a mixture of colours, and comes from eastern Labrador, Nfld. The finest labradorite
is a gemstone.
