Goethite
Goethite (iron oxide) is a yellow or brown mineral. This mineral is formed from other iron
minerals, and is associated with psilomelane and calcite. Goethite can be found in deposits in
Cuba, in Labrador, Canada, and in England. This fairly common mineral is mined as an iron
source.
