Olivenite
Olivenite (basic arsenate of copper) is an olive-green arsenate containg copper. It is quite brittle
and easily dissolves in hydrochloric acid. This semi-rare mineral is found in nature associated
with other minerals containing copper, such as malachite and azurite. Locations of olivenite
include Cornwall, England, and Namibia. Olivenite is named after its olive-green colour.
