Ragged Fringed Orchis
Ragged Fringed Orchis Habenaria lacera grows in
swamps. Its flowering stem has many yellowish-green
flowers which have a ragged appearance because the
central petals (labella) are deeply divided, forming a
sort of "beard" on each flower.
