Fairy-slipper
Fairy-slipper Calypso bulbosa grows amongst the
moss in coniferous woods. It has only one leaf and a
single flower. The pink sepals and petals are long and
pointed and the labellum is woolly inside and has two tiny
horns at the "toe of the slipper".
