Coral Slime
The fruiting bodies of Coral Slime Ceratiomyxa
fruticulosa look like tiny icicles or a translucent coral.
The spores are naked, growing on individual stalks.
Coral Slime is widely distributed and its branching
clusters, only about a centimetre high, can be seen from
June to October, growing on rotting wood or leaf litter.
