The Western Diamondback Rattlesnake is the largest western rattlesnake. Reaching up to 213cm in length this species is characterized by its heavy body and dark diamond patterned skin. The tail of the Diamondback is striped with strong black and white rings. The tail of this snake will give a loud rattle when the Diamondback is disturbed.
