California Whiptail Lizard
This Whiptail ranges in size from 20cm to 30cm. It is easily distinguished by the yellow and grey marbled
pattern of its scales and long tail. Like other Whiptails the legs are well developed and the lizard moves
with an awkward and jerking gait. The California Whiptail lizard can be found in arid and semiarid regions
of California and Oregon.
