HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Scalare

Sorry, No Picture! The scalare is a freshwater angelfish. The scalare has a compressed body from side to side and greatly extended fins. These prominent anal and dorsal fins create an overall triangular shape to the fishes otherwise round, plate-like body. With silvery body marked with darker colours the scalare has become a favourite among aquarists. The scalare is known to remain still for long periods of time. It reaches an average length of approximately 5 cm. [BM] {FW}
