Dormouse
The dormouse closely resembles a squirrel, although it is not a member of the squirrel family. The
smallest of the dormouse species reaches 3 to 3.5 inches in length, with an additional 3 inch tail.
The tail is furred. However, it is not bushy, distinguishing this mammal from members of the
squirrel family. The fur is soft brown, highlighted by a white throat, chest and toes. MORE!
