Exclusively herbivorous, deer mice are found in a wide variety of habitats where they can be sustained. Populations of deer mice can be found in swamps, deserts or forests. Deer mice are nocturnal, emerging from their burrows to feed under the cover of the night. Deer mice have many predators. This corn snake is enjoying a little mouse snack.
