Asses have commonly been bred with horses producing mules or hinney's. A mule is produced through the mating of a female horse with a male ass, while a hinney is produced through the mating of a male horse with a female ass. Both offspring from these combinations are sterile and cannot continue the species. These Tibetian women are possing with decorated mules. Found in desert or semi-desert areas the ass remains in parts of Asia. [BM] {FW}
