Like domesticated cats, wild cats abhor water but love sunshine. They meow, purr when contented, growl and spit when upset. Wild cat feed primarily on hares, rabbits and other small mammals. Wild cats are hunted for killing livestock such as sheep and poultry. The wild cat has 2 breeding seasons in which 4 to 5 kittens are born. Wild cats live almost exclusively in the mountainous regions of Europe and into Asia Minor and central Asia. [BM] {FW}
