Lynx
There are 3 species of lynx: the Canadian lynx, the European lynx and the Spanish lynx. The
original animal to be named the lynx was the European lynx. The European lynx reaches lengths
of 3 1/2 ft with the addition of a short 8 inch tail. The Canadian lynx is larger, the Spanish lynx
smaller. All lynx have short bodies, spotted coats and distinctive ear tufts. The large feet of the lynx
allow easy locomotion on the snow and over soft ground. MORE!
