Domesticated cats differ from wild cats as they carry their tails vertically. Like wild cats, domesticated cats exhibit stealth and agility. Able to climb and move among branches, cats have retractable claws. The stealth and agility of the domesticated cat are further enhanced by the whiskers on the face which act as sensors in the dark and vertical slit pupils, controlling light in much the same way as a camera lens, giving the cat superb night vision.
