Cape Hunting Dog 2
The cape hunting dog lives in well organized packs. All members are of equal status and share
responsibilities. Packs may number as many as 60 individuals. However, a dozen individuals in a
pack is more usual. In hunting, this carnivore easily overcomes even large prey through
persistence. Through perseverance the cape hunting dogs wear down their prey, biting them on the
flanks, until they are weak from loss of blood. MORE!
