Timber Wolf
There are 2 species of wolf, the timber or grey wolf and the red wolf. The more widespread and
common of the two species is the timber wolf. The timber wolf reaches lengths between 42 and 52
inches, with an additional tail length of 12 to 22 inches. Weighing up to 175 lbs, the timber wolf
is a strong and intelligent carnivore. Like dogs, wolves have
pointed muzzles, alert, rounded ears, and powerful jaws with 6 or 7 cheek teeth. MORE!
